Without a "shadow of a doubt" one of the classiest and creepiest "Nosferatu" T-shirts ever produced! NOSFERATU was the first on screen adaptation based on Bram Stoker's hit novel "Dracula". It was made in 1922 by the German Film company, Prana-Film. It starred German actor Max Schreck as Graf Orlok- the hideous blood thirsty vampire! In my opinion out of all the Vampires that have been portrayed on the Silver Scream -Max Schreck's was the most horrific! This shirt features a ground breaking artistic black on black shadow print! The famous film image used is the shadow Nosferatu cast on a wall showing his hunched posture and talon like claws! The ink used to print the image is
a special mix of black and an cemetery stone like onyx ink- Thus creating two different variations of black keeping the Nosferatu's shadow the pitch black of the t-shirt! Next to Nosferatus horrifying image is the films name in a vintage 1920 theatre text! There has been a resurgence of interest in "Nosferatu" due to the recent film "Shadow of the Vampire" where William Dafoe plays Schreck. DaFoe was spectacular in the role but no one can live up to (or should that be "die up to" since we are talking about the undead! Ha!) the 1922 original!
